Our everyday activities of school, work & play have been replaced with news of COVID-19, social distancing and stay-at-home orders. With 6 grandchildren under the age of 7, the social distancing is much more difficult than expected. We rely on technology with social media posts, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook to watch them grow. We are all dealing with something we’ve likely never experienced before.
As essential businesses, automotive repair shops have the responsibility to protect the community and the families of our essential workers. What were once customer face-to-face and customer waiting areas are closed off in order to practice good social distancing. It is encouraged to utilize after hours drop-off and pick-up, or concierge service where we come to your house or business, pick up and drop off your vehicle.
To protect our workers, the surfaces inside and around the shop are wiped down daily using Clorox wipes and aerosol. The workers wear protective gloves, wipe down surfaces such as the door handles, door closer handle, steering wheel, gear selector, buttons that require to be operated, and then apply a protective steering wheel and seat cover when entering the vehicle. After the vehicle is serviced and prior to returning to the owner, the surfaces are wiped down again in order to limit exposure to this invisible virus.
We are open and here to help the community. If you need essential medication or food and are unable to leave your home, let us know and we will do our best to assist you. Together we will be smart and beat this pandemic.
